Armored Warfare: PvE: Become a Mercenary

Armored Warfare offers two basic gameplay modes to all players – the Player versus Player (PvP) mode where players fight each other, and the Player versus Environment (PvE) mode, where a group of five players cooperates against artificial intelligence opponents in objective-driven missions.
The PvE missions can be accessed via the Garage and come in three difficulties:
  • Easy
  • Medium
  • Hard
The difficulty level influences the quality and number of opponents. Where the Easy difficulty enemy AI is rather benign and uses older and weaker vehicles, the Hard difficulty AI is ruthless and uses large number of very tough tanks as well as advanced tactics in order to provide the players with the challenge they desire. The players can select one mission of each difficulty level on the Mission Map screen. The available missions change regularly every several minutes.
Each mission begins with a briefing – a short overview of primary and secondary objectives, a description of the mission background, its location and of the opponents the players will be facing.
The Objectives are the most important part. There are two types:
  • Primary Objectives
  • Secondary Objectives
All objectives do have a certain time limit. A mission only ends with a success if all the primary objectives are completed. Completing secondary objectives will awards the players with additional rewards if the mission is successfully finished. There are many types of objectives, the most common ones include:
  • Capturing a location
  • Destroying a target
  • Protecting a target
  • Preventing the enemy from capturing a location
All tasks are given out by a special operative, whose voice guides the players during the mission itself, warns them of objective changes, enemy waves approaching and other mission events. At the end of the mission, the operative explains the mission outcome to the players and issues rewards for their performance.
There are many missions now available in Armored Warfare. Whether you are looking for a hardcore team-play challenge or an easy, fun experience, the Player versus Environment mode has something to offer to everyone.
We'll see you on the battlefield!
