EPISODE 3 – “THE SIMPLE ART OF ESCAPE”

  • Southern England, late autumn, 2040
It was dark outside already when Clayburn decided to take a stroll. Strom followed him through the labyrinthine halls of the silent mansion to a small courtyard behind the northern wall, hidden from prying eyes by thick rows of hedges. The stillness of the late autumn night was only interrupted by the footsteps of guards patrolling the premises and the soft whizzing and clicking of their suits of powered armor.
Clayburn sat himself down on a bench outside and stared wordlessly up as if trying to divine the location of the moon from behind the cloud cover. Strom wasn’t feeling particularly comfortable but sat next to Clayburn when prompted by an almost imperceptible nod and a wave of his hand. It was cold, but Clayburn showed no discomfort, only occasionally rubbing his scar – a well-healed wound that, however, did look somewhat recent.
“If you don’t mind me asking, sir, what happened?” asked Strom. He didn’t specifically mention the scar, he didn’t have to. Clayburn knew without looking and smiled.
“Just an accident. A reminder to always be careful around loaded guns. That’s what the scars are, Strom. The most important life lessons made flesh.”
Strom nodded, taking the question as answered, but Clayburn went on.
“Hunting, Strom. There is something magical about hunting. Putting your life on the line, just you against the nature.”

Commanders!
Welcome to Episode 3 of the Storyline Campaign. The Seahawks must defend themselves from the invasion, led by Peter Clayburn leading the Crimson Reavers elite unit!
From September 21 to October 12 2017, players will have the opportunity to finish Episode 3 of the storyline campaign by completing one of two objectives. Only one of these objectives has to be completed to obtain the “Episode 3 finished” status, needed to obtain the ultimate season prize, the exclusive Abrams AGDS vehicle!

Completing both objectives will, however, reward players with the ultimate prize of the episode – the previously unavailable T-72 Victory Tier 4 Premium Main Battle Tank.

OBJECTIVE 1 – HOLD OFF THE CRIMSON REAVERS

The Seahawks are meeting the Crimson Reavers in battle. It’s going to be a contest of both endurance and resolve – will they succeed, or will they fail?
Objective
  • Win up to 2 PvP battles per Day in a Tier 3 vehicle
  • Win up to 2 PvP battles Battle per Day in a Tier 6 vehicle
  • Win up to 2 PvP battles Battle per Day in a Tier 10 vehicle
Rewards
Each Objective 1 battle will be rewarded based on the highest Tier of vehicle owned by the respective player:
  • Tier 3: 20,000 Credits, 600 Global Reputation Points
  • Tier 4: 28,000 Credits, 700 Global Reputation Points
  • Tier 5: 35,000 Credits, 850 Global Reputation Points
  • Tier 6: 46,000 Credits, 1050 Global Reputation Points
  • Tier 7: 53,000 Credits, 1400 Global Reputation Points
  • Tier 8: 63,000 Credits, 1850 Global Reputation Points
  • Tier 9: 81,000 Credits, 2250 Global Reputation Points
  • Tier 10: 105,000 Credits, 2650 Global Reputation Points
Winning at least 80 Objective 1 battles qualifies for Episode 3 Completed status and a special reward:
  • 750 Gold

OBJECTIVE 2 – LOADING UP THE RESOURCES

A portion of the Seahawk forces is still scattered around the area, loading the resources needed on the journey west to the ship. Help them recover and secure the last of the precious food, water and fuel they need!
Objective
  • Win 120 PvE Hard battles during the event
Reward
  • Commander Erin O’Connell (or 1000 Gold for players who already have her) and Episode 3 Completed status

BONUS OBJECTIVE – SCOUTING THE BATTLEFIELD

To prepare for the battles in the desert, Kathryn Grey must send her scouts to carefully survey the area and to carefully select the future battlefields. One advantage to the previous battles with the mercenaries in Episode 2 is the amount of salvaged gear that fell into the Seahawk hands – without it, the Seahawks would have to rely on their dwindling fleet of Bradley fighting vehicles. Luckily, some of her men are trained to operate them. Put them to good use!
Objective
  • At least 30 battles of successfully completed Objective 1 have to be completed in the FV721 Fox, the FV721 Fox Shark or the BMP-3 (combining is not possible, all the required battles have to be played in one of the three vehicles)
OR
  • At least 40 battles of successfully completed Objective 2 have to be completed in the FV721 Fox, the FV721 Fox Shark or the BMP-3 (combining is not possible, all the required battles have to be played in one of the three vehicles)
Reward
  • Crimson Reaver decal
Additionally, if at least 30 percent of all Episode 3 winners complete this Bonus Objective, Kathryn Grey becomes a reward commander in the Storyline Campaign in the future episodes. However, should fewer than 30 percent of all Episode 3 complete the Bonus Objective, Kathryn Grey’s standing decreases and the Seahawks suffer additional losses.

ULTIMATE OBJECTIVE – TOTAL VICTORY

Players who achieve Episode 3 Completed in both categories by:
  • Winning at least 80 Objective 1 battles
  • Winning at least 120 Objective 2 battles
Will receive a special reward: T-72 Victory Tier 4 Premium Main Battle Tank as well as the Episode 1 and Episode 2 Completed status!

RULES

  • The Episode starts on September 21 at 16:00 CEST (7 AM PDT)
  • The Episode ends on October 12 at 16:00 CEST (7 AM PDT)
  • The Episode progress is available on the Player Profile
  • My.com reserves the right to disqualify any player in breach of Terms of Service from the Campaign
  • Rewards are distributed automatically with the exception of Erin O’Connell, the Crimson Reavers decal and the T-72 Victory, which will be awarded after the episode ends
  • At least 1 battle needs to be played with any new vehicle for it to register as a highest Tier vehicle for the purpose of Objective 1
